Rio Portrait
Oil on panel / 20 x 20cm
Private collection
A small study of my daughter, Rio, painted from a photograph taken when she was two years old.
This piece wasn't about creating a perfect likeness. It was about capturing a fleeting moment—that quiet concentration, the soft light in her hair, and the feeling of watching her discover the world around her.
