Night In
Oil on board, 20 × 20 cm
A quiet ending to the day.
This piece is a simple still life, but for me it holds that familiar feeling of a few drinks at home — the kind of evening that doesn’t need much. No noise, no rush, just time slowing down a little.
I kept the background plain and understated to let that sense of calm and coziness sit in the painting. The bottles take centre stage, not just as objects, but as a quiet nod to shared moments — the end of a day spent with friends, or even just the comfort of your own space.
Sometimes the simplest scenes say the most.
