My first venture into painting a denser woodland landscape.
Nestled among moss-covered trees, Corrie's steep corrugated iron roof emerges from the foliage. Designed by Edwin Lutyens as part of Castle Drogo's hydroelectric system, it still powers the visitor centre today.
A hidden piece of working history in the woods.
